"Approval's in the mail," we were told by Council on Tuesday, who took over two weeks just to "finalise the paperwork." Of course though, when our builder called them this morning, they hadn't sent it at all. So our builder personally went to pick it up today...and it STILL wasn't ready and he had to wait. Poor Daniel.
But folks, WE HAVE IT! Finally!
Now, the site cut is scheduled for some time over the coming weeks, and one month from then we should have a slab.
Time for one last look over the plans...
woohoo!! Great news!
ReplyDeleteDaniel gave you rough dates? We havent been told about anything, only on the day it happens.
Earth-movers are booked but it could be any day this fortnight. Cos our job is an easy one, the guys will likely do it one afternoon in-between jobs. We're hoping for next week cos we're getting the plants removed this week and sign the bank paperwork tomorrow. Because our block was the estate's site office, we have all these plants which are in the way. We're removing everything except the tall trees and one hedge and telling the earth-movers to clear as much of the block as they can, not just the minimum. Yay! How exciting!
DeleteGreat news!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI had given up on the dream of being in my Xmas, but Daniel said that it may happen (as long as there are no major delays but we're very slow or, as I like to say, deliberate!).
